Welcome to the World Mr. X!

A baby is born with a need to be loved - and never outgrows it. ~ Frank A. Clark

Now I have to say that this family in particular has more than enough love to go around. It is always a pleasure photographing them and I am so humbled to be welcomed into their family for such special occasions.

Words simply can not do justice to this beautiful family . . .

And I could not resist adding this special one!

I hope you enjoyed this family as much as I did,

Cheers

Support The Troops

As friends, family and followers of my blog know, in November my baby brother Scott, left for Afghanistan (although he is taller than me he is still my baby brother).

One good thing with him being away is it has actually brought our School Community together (St. Bridget Catholic School in Brooklin). To celebrate the start of the advent season 148 families gathered in the school gym, picnic style, tape, wrapping paper, goodies and hot chocolate in hand and together we wrapped over 148 boxes filled with treats such as laminated fall leaves, books, candies, anything Canadian, gloves, postcards, letters, and games for the troops. All in attendance were asked to sign a beautiful banner to send to the troops - honestly I found it really hard to keep my eyes dry that night - to know that so many people supported not only my brother but also all the troops that would be away from family and loved ones during the holidays. I know for sure I am blessed to be part of such a great community and to have such a wonderful brother (my other brother is pretty cool too LOL)

- below are a few photo's from my brother when all the presents were received.

Cheers,

Heather

Sneak Peek for The Sloan Family

Our family is blessed to have so many special friends and this year we had the opportunity to spend the Holiday Season with some dear and wonderful friends - As with many families and friends we often get together and talk about how bad it is that it was so long ago that we got together or so long ago that we had family photo's - so we figured - why not - so on Wednesday morning with our coffee in hand we headed to the lake to capture a very special family - as the Irish say
“May God grant you always...A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you. And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.”

Alan, Adele and Amanda - I hope you had a safe flight home.

God Bless

Heather
